Cookie Policy
Last updated: 8 September 2026
This policy explains the limited use of cookies and device storage across the Tremor website and browser extension.
1. Essential website cookies
Tremor uses Supabase authentication cookies to establish, maintain and refresh a secure signed-in session. These cookies are necessary for account features such as the dashboard, subscription management and extension-key management. They are not used for advertising or cross-site profiling.
2. Duration and control
Authentication cookies may persist so that you remain signed in and are updated when the session is refreshed. Signing out removes or invalidates the active Tremor session. You can also remove cookies through your browser settings, but doing so will sign you out and may prevent protected account features from working.
3. Browser-extension storage
The Tremor extension uses the browser's extension storage, rather than website cookies, to keep your extension key and the identifier of the Tremor extension window. The key is sent only to Tremor's API over HTTPS to authenticate requests. Choosing Disconnect device removes the locally stored key.
4. Payments and external services
When you choose to subscribe or manage billing, you are redirected to pages operated by Stripe. Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies on those pages under its own notices and settings. Those cookies are not placed by the Tremor website.
5. Analytics and advertising
Tremor does not currently use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels or optional analytics cookies. For that reason, the Tremor website does not currently display a cookie-consent banner. If optional tracking is introduced later, it will be blocked until any consent required by applicable law has been obtained, and this policy will be updated.
